Hi! If you are new around here, welcome.
My name is Stephanie Saxton and I'm the Founder behind The Salty Collective. Three years ago I launched my personal clothing label, Saltysea. A brand soaked in collaboration and community, featuring a range of activewear, swimwear, linen and newly introduced menswear. I worked the typical 9-5 job while building Saltysea in the evenings, weekends and any spare moments I had. Exactly one year ago I took the leap, created and opened our first flagship store, known as The Salty Collective.
This felt like a dream come true, sometimes it still feels surreal. My goal was to create more than just a retail store, I wanted to create a space that was welcoming and inspiring when you walked through our doors. I'm honoured to be sitting here inside my store writing these words today because that's exactly what we've created. Over the past year, The Salty Collective has grown into the most beautiful and supportive community.
Here at The Salty Collective we are deeply passionate about the difference we can make, it's our responsibility to work with brands, design our collections and operate The Salty Collective sustainably.
We believe human rights should be respected and all working conditions better than adequate. We believe in environmental sustainability and sustainable livelihoods. We believe that businesses should be beneficial to our planet and not detrimental.
We believe in leaving as small a footprint as we can as a small business. Almost all of our brands we work with are active in the movement of sustainability, using recycled and sustainable materials in their production process. All of our brands are setting a standard for all businesses follow suit and that makes us so happy.
At the heart of our company, is our own brand Saltysea;
We develop all of our collections using sustainable fabrics focusing on durability, eco friendly and recycled materials
