Here at The Salty Collective we are deeply passionate about the difference we can make, it's our responsibility to work with brands, design our collections and operate The Salty Collective sustainably. 

We believe human rights should be respected and all working conditions better than adequate. We believe in environmental sustainability and sustainable livelihoods. We believe that businesses should be beneficial to our planet and not detrimental.

We believe in leaving as small a footprint as we can as a small business. Almost all of our brands we work with are active in the movement of sustainability, using recycled and sustainable materials in their production process. All of our brands are setting a standard for all businesses follow suit. 

At the heart of our company, in our own brand Saltysea;

  • We develop all of our collections using sustainable fabrics focusing on durability, eco friendly and recycled materials

  • We only use biodegradable packaging when receiving and shipping our products

  • All of our business cards are made of t-shirt offcuts, reusing and recycling

  • We are committed to continuously learning about new fabrics and materials to constantly improve our collections 

  • We've integrated environmental, economic and social issues into the heart of our brand

  • We believe that environmental sustainability is a priority and we're on a mission to spread that message

  • We value our responsible partnerships with companies like Econyl

At The Salty Collective, our orders are packaged using as much plastic-free materials as we can. Working with New Zealand company, No Issue Tissue - all of our tissue paper is acid-free. Our mailers are 100% home compostable decomposing within a couple of weeks. 

All of our Saltysea pieces are shipped in a 100% cotton drawstring bag, you can re use this for groceries, accessories or a beach bag. If you have any questions, feedback or concerns please let us know so we can constantly improve.
